This book is a collection of poems and essays written by women who have diabetes. The collection will cover any and all aspects of living with diabetes: from diagnosis to aging gracefully. Other possible essay topics may include: Maneuvering Adolescence, Dating, Finding the Right Doctor, Leaving Home, Relationships with Food, Exercise, Managing the Workplace, Wedding Plans and Marriage, Starting a Family- Fertility issues, Pregnancy, and/or Adoption, Gestational Diabetes, Motherhood, Dealing with Complications, Aging Gracefully and Type 2 Diabetes.
